Martin Luther King Jr's "I had a dream" speech

Mr. King said, and I'm paraphrasing here, that he hoped that one day all men (and women) would be judged on the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I find it ironic that the first 1/2 African American to be elected president of The United States was elected precisely because of the color of his skin and despite his, clear, lack of character.
